When I got him, I had logged out in his location, when I logged in, there he was! Have some patience, its worth the tame.
prolly cuz you spelled his name wrong, you goof.
he spawns in one spot, you are doing it wrong if you just periodically go and check it. get some beer, put on some music or a movie and camp out. that's what i did and luckily it only took about 3 hours.
