rerolling alliance, best PVP race?

ya so im going alliance, just wondering what best race for PVP ONLY is? i see good benefits for all.. double dmg/resi trinket as human, target drop as NE, stoneform and +1% crit with guns (though i have vicious glad bow), even the worgen sprint would be nice. scoured the internet and couldn't find anything, help! thx, no trolls plz
Female dwarf FTW
really though?
I would go with Worgen.
please give good reasoning, or cite a source or something... someone lol, one has to be superior to the rest im just having trouble balancing the pros vs the cons with them
pvp, I would go with a Human or NE for the racials. Though dwarf wouldn't be too bad either for the 10% damage reduction.
Just wondering- why are you going with the bow instead of the gun as a dwarf? Purely for looks?
For min maxing it is worgen - 1% crit with all weapons + sprint makes them the current top race.

If you want the greatest race you will go dwarf and be please.
bump

looking for somone who can explain... atm i think dwarf may be best choice
Ok, I am ONLY going to list the Racials that apply to Hunter and Combat With an emphasis on PvP. With a comment after each Race on their abilities. Please note I got all my info from the Wiki.

Dreanei
Gift of the Naaru: Heals Target for 20% of their Health, for 3 seconds, 40 yard range, 3 min cooldown.
Shadow Resistance: +1 point of Resistance to Shadow based spells/abilities per level
Heroic Presence: +1% to hit with all spells and attacks.

+1% Hit bonus, PvP ranged we need 5% hit against all races except those like Night elves where we need 7%. This reduces our hit needed at lvl 85 by about 120, this is a 120 rating that can go to Crit/Mastery/Haste instead of being needed for Hit.
+1 to Shadow Resistance, good against Shadow Priests, Warlocks, Death Knights, Survival Hunters (Black Arrow).

Dwarf

Frost Resistance: +1 point of Resistance to Frost based spells/abilities per level
Gun Specialization: +1% Crit with all guns
Stoneform: 2 min cooldown Removes all poison, disease and bleed effects and reduces all damage taken by 10% for 8 sec.

Frost resistance Vs those damn Frost mages
+1% Crit with guns some very nice PvP guns out there
Our only available Dot Scrub (for certain dots).

Gnome:
    Kickball!

Good for kickball games. If you have a spikey one let someone else kick the ball for you.

Human
Every Man for Himself: 2 min cooldown, Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control of your character. This effect shares a cooldown with other similar effects.
Sword Specialization: +3% Expertise with Sword (2h or 1h)

An extra Trinket is never a bad thing.
If you use raptor+Wingclip+Disengage type macro's in PvP, nice to be able too hit. Dual wielding is not so bad with this. However most of our two handers have better stats then wielding two swords.

Night Elf:
Nature Resistance: +1 point of Resistance to Nature based spells/abilities per level
Quickness: -2% chance to be hit by melee or ranged
Shadowmeld: 2 min cooldown, Stealth, lasts until canceled or upon moving. Threat is restored versus enemies still in combat upon cancellation of this effect. You pet being in combat will keep you in combat. generally use is dismiss Pet then Shadowmeld to remove threat.
Wisp Spirit: Transform into a wisp upon death, increasing speed by 75%.

Nature Resist: Druids, Rogues (poisons), etc..
Quickness a 7% to be hit vs everyone elses 5%
Shadowmeld nice surprise ability, does need some set up. Can be an escape mechanism if you can get out of LoS of someone and they are idiots. Most good PvPer's know they just need to run aroudn the area they saw you disapear too to find you. Cannot do anything else in it. Will allow camping of bases/flags with an opener.
Wisp surpising how much the ability to get back to your body fast and suddenly pop into battle can be of a help to your teammates. Especially if that Dot class is still near death and you can one or two shot him before he ganks you again. As all of your abilities will be up and off cooldown.

Worgen:
Aberration: Increases your resistance to harmful Nature and Shadow effects by +1 per level. This is the Dreanai and Night Elf Bonus's combined.
Darkflight: 3min cooldown, Activates your true form, increasing current movement speed by an additional 40% for 10 sec.
    Flayer: +15 to Skinning skill
Running Wild: 1.5 sec cast Movement increase, based on level
    Viciousness: +1% to Crit.

+1% to crit is better then Dwarfs gun only Crit %
Resistance to shadow AND nature, better then Dreanei and Night elfs.
Unmounted, Movement based abilities should not be discounted in any BG, arena or World PvP. Easier to spot someone on a horse running across a battle field even if they are going through bushes then someone running along the ground on all fours.
Especially when coupled with terrain + camo <Darkflight>.
+15 to Skinning means you get the Crit Bonuses from skinning a little faster while leveling up. Once you get high enough level to hit 525 though, as an advantage it goes away.

I am going to break this up into a second post as its going to be really to long.
Over all I am inclined to think that Worgen will be top dogs for Alliance PvP.

For camparison purposes:
Dreanei vs WorgenHit vs Crit
Since 1% Crit = 179.29 crit rating Vs the Dreanei 1% hit = 120.19 hit rating.
So to equal the Dreanei 1% Hit a Worgen needs to reforge 120.19 hit.
For the Dreanei to Equal the Worgens Crit, then 170.29 Crit rating needs to be reforged.
Rounded up 171 vs 121 in secondary stats.

next Dreanei has heals vs Worgens movement and extra resistance.

I think Worgen wins by a wide margin

Dwarf Vs Worgen
1% Gun only Crit+Stoneform+Frost vs 1% Crit+Movement+Nature/Shadow

Tough one
1pt Worgen as Worgen Crit is better then Dwarf Crit.
0.5 pt Worgen as 1 Resist vs two resist, but that one resist is frost (I hate frost mages)
1pt Dwarf stone form vs movement. Ill go with a armor increase and a semi dot scrub. An argument could be made that the resists of shadow/nature take up about 2/3rds of the dots we run into. But its PvP and most people run with spell Pen of some sort.

So Worgen by .5pts

Night elf vs WorgenQuickness translates as everyone needs 2% more hit (Other hunters this is 240.38 Hit) to hit you consistantly. 1% crit 171. On paper a win to night elves. But reality not so sure. Ill give 0.25pts to night elves. Mainly becuase many seem to go people are gonna go with 7% hit anyway.

Stealth vs Movement, can call this either way. Do you like camping or do you like to run away (OR charge into the face of the enemy) Note the stealth bonus's I think does apply to camo when standing still. +.5pts to your preference. These abilites do not apply directly to damage and are highly situational with long cool downs.

Nature resistance vs Shadow AND nature resistance. Yeah, ill go with Worgen 0.5pts (Again most players will have spell pen anyway)

Worgen by 0.25-0.75pts
or Night elf by .25 pts depending on your style of playing. Me I am biased and enjoy the stealth aspect since I solo a lot on a horde crowded server.

Human vs Worgen
Trinket Vs Movement+Crit+Resistances

Yeah: Worgen

Note I did not compare each of the races to each other only too Worgen.

Now if you were to ask me about Raiding?

Worgen, none other comes even close in alliance.
