I found him after a week of random camping, dismiss pet, start tame.. Dead loque.. FML.

Worst I ever endured was having a &@#$&^ Blood Elf hunter tame Sambas out from under me while I was getting set up. I eventually got him a week later, but I learned my lesson. Now if I know I'm going to go pet hunting I run in BM spec (regardless if I'm looking for an exotic) with no active pet summoned. Serves me well too - I was nearing the end of taming Madexx this morning when a Night Elf hunter swooped down. All he could do was watch the tame finish by the time he dismounted. If I'd had to dimiss a pet beforehand, who knows what the little bugger might have tried?

Ninja lighting speed tame FTW. Condolences on Loque, btw - of all the rares I've tamed, he took me the longest to find.
I hear ya! That is total BS! I had a Hunter do the same thing to me when I was taming king Krush. I had a Horde Hunter come right by and kill him while I was taming him. Then he says to me so what, I am going for the Frostbitten Achievement. I wanted to kill that Azzhole so bad. So I just spammed his name in Trade Chat stating he was a Ninja!

Meh alls good that ends good, I tamed Gondira about an hour or so after making this thread, so i'm happy for now!!!
I had a blood elf hunter kill Sambas on me mid tame. I got him a week or so later. I named Sambas after the blood elf so now he kills horde all day.
Make sure you tag them before starting tame that way they don't get kill credit and a least if they are still jerks and kill it you get any loot it drops.
