most important sub stat for new MM?

so right now im thinking that haste might be better for MM mainly to increase our focus regen and for steady shot so we can fire off more aimed shots and proc master mark more often. Im not gonna be reforging crit into haste but what about mastery? thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Best leveling spec?

I have been told by many people in Cata that BM was the best, but I quickly learned that survival was freakin awesome and was so much faster leveling than BM (atleast at the lower levels, 1-60). I am still survival but with the recent nerf of survival and buff of marks, I am tempted to go marks.

Any opinions?

Venomscale Spitter = Non-rare Br Madexx?

I was flying around Uldum today, waiting for my hearthstone to recharge when I noticed something disturbing. South of the Oasis is a common mob called the Venomscale Spitter. Upon closer examination, I realized it's the exact same model is the brown Madexx. Is this new with the patch, or has Madexx's model not been special for a while now?
I just wanted to verify that if you had the BROWN version of Madexx like I did, gratz! You now have a common brown scorpid. If you want a rare skin pet you need to farm Madexx a second time.

This sucks. But they've done it in the past. Humar > Pitch comes to mind. One minute you have a rare and hard to obtain pet and then next you have a common skinned pet.
I think it's a nice step in the right direction. Camping for Madexx blows as hard as a fan thrown into a hurricane.

Edit: And yes, I have tamed a bronze madexx.
Yep its a more attainable model of the Maddex skin for those that dont have the chance to get it. Uldum got quite a few new skinned mobs in it. Allot of other places got some new pet looks too soo go check them out. Some are rares soo u might be waiting about 4 hours for the skin desighn that u want the most. :P

I hope they don't continue the trend with other rare spawns, but that's not what is the concern here. If Blizzard wanted to make the skin more available they should have created a new color of it so those hunters who had been lucky enough to tame a brown Madexx would still have something somewhat unique for doing something that "blows" so hard.

For the record, I have a blue Madexx so while this change does not effect me as an individual, the act in itself is what bothers me.
I have a brown and a black Madexx. While I was initially disappointed in Blizzard's choice to make the brown skin more common, after some thought, I'm fairly pleased that they've done so: after six years, the old scorpion model is quite frankly boring.
Im not to big of a fan of the old scorpion models myself unless the old skin is drasticly alterd on a mob in the futer (possibly a spirit scorpion desighn thats not translucent?). However i do love the black and red maddex i was able to tame awhile back. If u like bugs u should also try for the Green Beetle its a rare, one of a kind and can only be found in Southern barrens its pretty nice.

Tips for beating an enhancement shaman

They have crazy self heal and crazy burst. I can't seem to even touch them half the time.
Deterrance through Wolfs and try and silence when your past 15 yards so they cant "Nova" you with frost shock
Shoot them alot.
Dude.

Glyph.
Yep that 5 second decreased cooldown on Feign Death would totally turn the entire duel around! And thanks Incinerage, and Saralonde for the completely not useless information in regards to beating an enhancement shaman. How could I have not seen that all I needed to beat them were stats?!
Stay out of melee. They can only root you every 15 seconds (and only if you're more than 15 yards away), which means that you can Master's Call 1/3 of those roots. Deterrence, Feign and Frost trap to keep wolves off you.

I see you're BM, so I can't really provide much insight there (I prefer MM for pvp) but Intimidation on CD will greatly annoy them.
We don't have gap-closing powers (beyond root-and-run). You have gap-creating powers. Think about it.
This guy knows his stuff.

LOL

I actually came here for pet info, since I just made a Hunter, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

With the possible exception of Mages, Hunters should be the class with the least to fear from Shaman. Seriously.

In more direct regard to the OP complaint, a lot of our burst depends on wolves (long cooldown) and "crazy self-heals" require both (1) you staying in melee range and (2) the RNG working out in our favor.
2 empty glyph slots
6 unenchanted items
6 x Mystic Amberjewel
Twilight Leg Armor

just run mate, drops traps etc, FD, try to mount and get out of there.

maybe try a DK, warrior, pally or druid. they are better for tanking.

idk i like what this guy said.
Silence then during master's call for one root

Scatter for one

snake trap entrap for one

Use frost trap especially during spirit wolves, deterrence after the wolf bashes

Kill earthbind totem with your pet, otherwise it just cleanses him of all snares when it pulses

eh kite and delete your backpedal key
Kite for you life!!! Seriously get like MAX ranges on them!!!! Use every kiting tool you got!!!!

oh yea and fear the wolves with scare beast
Any post made by the scrub named Saralonde needs to be ignored. he is bad, and if you'd like, you can look up him crying how he can't make pvp work. now he's here giving advice?

without lookin at your gear or glyphs as mentioned are bad. Youre mm, Deterrence, Master's call, Disengage run like hell. Readiness repeat. your turn now to pop your offensive cd's. win move on.

you are missing two glyphs, 6 item enchants, you have 6 resil gems (LMAO) and stamina on pants. the latter is not too bad, but the resil gems are a joke.

Enc Shaman is going to try and stay in your melee range like a mage. i suspect you need to vastly improve your kiting skills.

no #**#? somoene is gonna sit in our dead zone? also yes resil gems are bad. because i mean mail stops so much dmg and we have so much spell absorb. look up glads and stand by that comment plz

lmao at dis shaman - i use Disengage as a "gap-closer" to catch bads like you that run for their life.

Feral Spirit - 30 secs
Bestial Wrath - 10 secs

both 2 min cooldown. bye.

speaking of glyphs, http://us.battle.net/wow/en/item/42902 go there and tell me our cd is not shorter? oh and then theres http://www.wowhead.com/spell=53262 sounds like a 2 minute cd to me... get lost scrub

Disengage

I love this talent, but i hate out it reacts to the terrain that you are in as a slope or hill. Also do movement effects on you make you not disengage as far? I know you are suppose to jump and use it but this can be difficult to use in some situations.
You will disengage just as far even if your movement speed is reduced. It can be very good for getting away if you are on a slope combined with engineering parachute (you can clear half the map in WSG/AB/Twin Peaks if used in the right spots)
Jump as you disengage.

Coming back to hunter

I've found myself pretty bored with my priest as of late seeing as all I do is arena. I figured I'd give my old hunter from BC a chance again, and I'm wondering what's a fun leveling spec?
I only remember ever playing mm (sometimes bm)
Also, she's enchanting/mining.
I'll probably change enchanting to something else. Any ideas as to what profession might fit better?

Edit: Also, what does the stat priority look like now? I haven't played since we had mana lulz.

Faction Trinket

I know i've seen an epic Trinket available from a Quartermaster but can not remember/find out which one.
Little help

Fluid Death or Unsolvable Riddle
Thank you both
